Time again, our time in hours

Time frowned

Children of flowers

Turning around

Seeing their powers

On the ground

Hitting a wall

Statuette bound

A reminder

For descendants

We are

We are

A note from the poet:

Transcendent, in this case meaning: As trans people we can overcome the idea that we are only known or “discovered” after we die or have overcome great obstacles. I think now with the internet we are already there, with some representation in public figures, but we need more representation in education. Part of my responsibility as someone who wishes to become an educator and is a trans woman is to help people no matter their age be represented and feel safe. That way my energy and purpose would transcend myself, even.
