A Strong East Wind

SLEEPING IN THE DUST

ONE MUST RISE UP

AS IF THE HORIZON

OFFERED STRENGTH

THE BLUE SKY HAD DAYS

TO FIND RENEWED CLOUDS

THE RAINS HELP

TO FEED ME

BUT NEED LABOR

TO HARNESS

LORD, FEED US LIFE

TO SHATTER DEATH IN US

FOR THE HURT I RUN TO

IS A CLOUD WITHOUT WATER

IT FOOLS HUNGRY CELLS

A GRAY MIRAGE

WE SEE HOW

A FIERY ATTITUDE

CAN SCALE HEAVEN

WITH NEW TRUTH

HUNGER FOR ENOCH’S GATE

OPENED OUTSIDE OF TIME

A GUST OF WIND

SHAKES THE BUNCHES OF GRAPES

AS NEW WINE CASKS

ARE TOASTED IN THE CELLAR

WHEN HURRICANES ARE BIRTHED

BY INKY, INDIGO CUMULUS HANDS

THE SEAS TREMBLE

A REAL POWER AWAKENS

A MIGHTY SQUALL OF RAGE

UNBALANCES US

CONTROL MUST SURRENDER

TO ITS FURIES

WIND TOOK METAL

AND TAUGHT IT TO FLY

THE SUN’S WAY

OR GOD’S HIGH CALL

HE REVEALS TO CHILDREN

SIGNS OF HIS FATHER’S HEART

THEY RESPOND TOGETHER

“I WILL LOVE

SINCE YOU LOVE ME”

WINGS OF HOPE

BEAR THEM ALOFT

TO WEAR THE WEDDING GARMENTS

ROBES OF ALABASTER

IN UNITY, SEEKING HIM

BUT THOSE WHO WAIT FOR THE LORD’S HELP FIND RENEWED STRENGTH; THEY RISE UP AS IF THEY HAD EAGLES’ WINGS, THEY RUN WITHOUT GROWING WEARY, THEY WALK WITHOUT GETTING TIRED. (Isaiah 40:31 NET)
